Mid-Level Interior Designer (Luxury Residential - UK Studio Experience Mandatory)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer with UK training and professional experience to join their design studio. This role is ideal for a hands-on designer with strong exposure across the full interior design lifecycle, working on luxury residential projects from early concept through to site installation.

The position requires a well-rounded skill set across design, detailing, and on-site coordination, with the ability to support senior team members while independently delivering assigned packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute across all stages of luxury residential interior design projects, including:
• Mood boards and concept design
• Design development and detailed design
• Technical documentation and coordination
• Site support and installation
• Prepare design presentations, material palettes, and FF&E selections
• Produce detailed drawing packages and schedules in coordination with senior designers
• Assist with sourcing furniture, lighting, finishes, and materials appropriate to luxury interiors
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors
• Attend client meetings, presentations, and site visits as required
• Support procurement, sample reviews, and installation stages
• Ensure design intent is maintained through to project completion

Requirements:

• Proven experience at Mid-Level Interior Designer level within a design studio
• UK-trained, with demonstrable professional experience on UK projects
• Experience working on luxury residential interiors
• Exposure across concept, detailed design, and site/installation stages
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E
• Good technical and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior designers
