We are looking for an Internal Accountant with a minimum of 1 year of experience to manage and report the organization's financial data. The role involves preparing financial statements, analysing accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounts receivable, including documentation of bills and supporting records
- Maintain accounts payable by ensuring timely invoice payments, validating liabilities, and obtaining required approvals
- Update and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Collect payroll-related expenses and record them in the appropriate accounting entries
- Analyze financial statements and prepare balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and UAE financial regulations
- Assist with audits, financial reviews, and management reporting as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business setup, auditing, or accounting consultancy (UAE market experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE business laws, regulations, and accounting procedures
- Familiarity with UAE banking procedures and financial services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
