Job Description

Main job duties and responsibilities:

  1. Perform audit work as per the annual audit plan on sampling basis.
  2. Report audit findings to Internal Audit Supervisor.
  3. Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems and procedures, appraising the quality of performance and operation in carrying out the assigned responsibilities.
  4. Assess internal controls for being adequate to safeguard Company's assets, detect fraud, waste, abuse and misappropriation, and to ensure maximum utilization of resources.
  5. Review functional areas of financial matters to determine accuracy, correctness, and completeness of reports.
  6. Update flowcharts and documentation when changes take place and evaluate the effect on controls of changes in the control environment.
  7. Interview employees, supervisors and management to gather facts, define and explore problems and to provide possible solutions.
  8. Conduct audits, studies, analyses and evaluations to improve financial and operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Company.
  9. Any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job's specialty.

Job requirements:

Educational background and previous experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance and Business.
  2. Knowledge of internal control systems and concepts.
  3. At least 2 - 3 years of experience.

Skills, abilities (Key Competencies):

  1. Ability to observe and understand business processes ensuring processes documented completely and accurately.
  2. Ability to apply audit standards through practical application.
  3. Proactive in researching business best practice concepts in order to apply as appropriate.
  4. Solid listening skills and ability to identify gaps in logic inquisitive.
  5. Strong organization and follow up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments.
  6. Ability to give and follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed wholly toward desired outcome.
  7. High level of operational knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  8. Good Analytical skills
