Job Summary

Join a dynamic team where your attention to detail and curiosity drive meaningful impact in compliance, ensuring operational integrity across Miral's vibrant theme parks and retail outlets. This role blends hands-on investigationslike surprise cash counts, safety checks, and waste reviewswith analytical work, such as designing dashboards and reporting on compliance risks, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen policies. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of internal audit experience, a keen eye for anomalies, and proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI, paired with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You'll gain exposure to high-visibility projects, rotate across parks for varied challenges, and contribute directly to safeguarding business operations while growing your expertise in compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting surprise cash counts, float checks and vault counts at Miral-owned and/or operated theme parks
  • Conducting periodic stock count in Miral owned/managed retail outlets and warehouse locations
  • Conducting periodic stock check and review of wastage in F&B area
  • Review F&B and Retail Refunds, Voids and Wastage
  • Assisting the Internal Compliance Manager in conducting investigations related to compliance matters
  • Carry out random checks to verify that ride operators are following established safety procedures
  • Monitor routine rides maintenance schedules to ascertain rides maintenance is carried out
  • Work with the Internal Compliance Manager and other members of the Internal Compliance team to design and develop compliance monitoring dashboards based on key risk parameters and metrics
  • Review and monitor various compliance dashboards and report on exceptions
  • Assist the Internal Compliance Manager in developing timely and accurate reports
  • Assist with administrative matters of the department
  • Travel to and between parks/attractions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Bachelours Degree in any field
  • Completed or in the final stages of an internal audit qualification (CIA)
  • 3 years in an Internal Audit role
