Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a Commercial Operations Executive to join our team, specializing in the golf tourism industry. The role will focus on researching and engaging with key golf clubs globally, driving sales and ensuring successful onboarding to the platform. The ideal candidate will be passionate about golf and have experience in tourism, hospitality, or leisure industries.
Primary Tasks:
- Research major golf tourism markets (e.g., Algarve, Costa Del Sol) and key travel hubs (e.g., London, Paris, Barcelona), building data on target golf clubs.
- Compile comprehensive golf club data, including course information, contact details of key executives, etc.
- Lead sales outreach, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding new golf clubs onto the platform.
- Collaborate with the Development Team and Marketing to ensure successful onboarding of each new golf club.
Secondary Tasks:
- Conduct research across multiple industries (golf, tourism, hospitality, leisure), gathering market data on golf participation, identifying trends, new technologies, and key golf technology companies or individuals.
- Compile simple research presentations based on findings.
- Organize internal and external meetings and workshops, creating agendas and distributing minutes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and follow up with colleagues to ensure tasks are completed.
- Prepare simple presentations or reports for specific tasks.
Profile of the Individual:
- Young, smart, post-graduate in business management/administration, with a focus on golf, hospitality, entertainment, or leisure.
- Degree-level qualification.
- Must play golf and have a passion for the game.
