About the Role
The KAUST International Hubs aim to accelerate research commercialization via connection with international ecosystems, promote research and education in support of innovation, and bridge demand and supply between Saudi and the international ecosystems.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating various programs and initiatives to enhance collaboration, innovation, and knowledge transfer between KAUST and international hubs partners. He/She will plan and execute the design of the programs with internal and external stakeholders, and provide programmatic guidance to deliver successful programs aligned with the strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- Develop programs plans aligning with the long-term goals of the Hub for fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Lead the planning, organization, coordination and execution of high-impact programs and events that showcase innovation and attract key stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international partners, and collaborators.
- Facilitate communication and planning between the KAUST and the international partners.
- Provide support to entrepreneurs and startups engaged in innovation activities at the hub.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the International Hubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights, best practices, and resources for collective success.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data collection and analysis framework to measure program outcomes and assess the impact on the innovation ecosystem.
- Utilize insights to refine programs and enhance overall effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed and insightful regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing the program's achievements, impact, and future directions.
- Ensure all programs and activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Coordinate logistics for programs/events, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for participants.
- Identify and adopt new technologies that can improve the overall program experience.
- Perform and execute programs according to agreed budgets and timelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree is a plus.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge in program coordination, preferably in an innovation or research setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, entrepreneurs, industry partners, and government officials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English languages is required.
Preferred Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing programs, preferably in the context of innovation, research, or technology transfer.
