Job Description

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or in a related field,
  • Experience in key account management, shopper marketing and Makeup category is a must,
  • Several years of experience in trade marketing, brand activation, sales, or a related role, often in the FMCG industry, is common,
  • Experience in GCC and MENA is a must,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Experience with sales data and syndicated data sources is also beneficial,
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are critical. The ability to work well in a team and manage multiple projects is also important,
  • Fluent in English and Arabic,
  • Based in Dubai with a valid work permit.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to achieve business objectives,
  • Create trade promotional plans with key customers and channels,
  • Establish and execute channel strategies and annual calendars,
  • Annual or quarterly meetings preparations with distributors and key accounts,
  • Champion the 4P framework (Portfolio, Pricing, Promotion, Placement) across all international markets, including assortment and planogram management.
  • Drive regional trade marketing and distributor-focused activities across GCC, North Africa, the Middle East, and CIS regions,
  • Manage and monitor trade marketing investments and budgets,
  • Oversee the execution of in-store campaigns, promotions, and merchandising programs,
  • Coordinate with sales teams on field needs and marketing initiatives,
  • Lead the deployment of POS materials, merchandising, and retail activation programs,
  • Work closely with sales teams to optimize trade investments and measure the ROI of all campaigns,
  • Support all new product launches with impactful in-store activation and local consumer insights,
  • Track market trends and competitor activities, recommending proactive actions to maintain competitive advantage,
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, ensuring the effective execution of joint business plans,
  • Track and report on trade marketing KPIs, providing data-driven insights,
  • Manage local agency and vendor relationships necessary for creative and activation support,
  • Ensure complete compliance with all brand guidelines and local regulations in every trade marketing activity,
  • Establish sample and GWP needs and share with relevant stakeholders,
  • Lead strategy and execution of consumer and customer event collaborations and strategic partnerships, driving local relevance, buzz and engagement. Ensure set KPIs are achieved,
  • Analyze market research and customer/shopper insights to inform strategies,
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and sales data to evaluate effectiveness,
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution,
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade partners and distributors.
