Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Planner (Spare Parts SAP User) to join our team at Sukari Gold Mines. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize spare parts inventory using SAP and MRP systems to ensure efficient stock control and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain stock levels that meet company consumption requirements.
Apply ABC and XYZ methods to control and classify inventory.
Calculate Min/Max stock levels and analyze lead times for accurate planning.
Utilize MRP systems (preferably SAP) for material replenishment and scheduling.
Conduct stock reviews and verify usage fluctuations with end users.
Monitor inventory movement, consumption, and zero-stock items.
Focus on spare parts inventory control and follow up on high-value and capital items.
Identify and investigate abnormal consumption patterns.
Review replenishment cycles and system-generated reports.
Classify stock as moving, slow-moving, or non-moving and prepare related reports.
Coordinate with end users to reduce non-moving and dead stock.
Develop forward plans for key items and materials.
Determine suitable Methods of Transportation (MOT) and handle logistics queries.
Prepare monthly and critical inventory reports.
Verify fuel receipts, monitor daily levels, and support material planning.
Train and guide warehouse staff to achieve department objectives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Engineering.
6+ years experience in warehousing or inventory, including 4 years in a similar role.
Proven experience with SAP (MM/Inventory modules) and MRP systems.
Strong knowledge of ABC/XYZ analysis, Min/Max calculations, Lead Time analysis, and Spare Parts control.
Excellent command of English and Microsoft Office.
Skilled in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
