Job Overview
The Stock Controller ensures inventory accuracy across inbound, storage, and outbound workflows. The role requires strong attention to detail, fast coordination with the warehouse team, and maintaining real-time stock integrity in the system. This position plays a critical part in preventing stock variances, supporting smooth order fulfilment, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all fulfilment zones (Inbound, Putaway, Picking, Returns, Refurb, Dispatch).
- Conduct daily cycle counts, weekly audits, and monthly physical stock checks.
- Investigate stock discrepancies, update system records, and report variances.
- Coordinate with inbound teams to validate GRNs, item condition, and quantity accuracy.
- Verify SKU labelling, barcode accuracy, and proper bin allocation.
- Ensure all stock movements are system-recorded (transfer orders, adjustments, quarantines).
- Track ageing inventory, slow-moving SKUs, and report risks proactively.
- Work with Quality Control and Outbound to prevent mis-picks and wrong shipments.
- Support system updates during new SKU onboarding or bin reorganization.

Requirements
- 24 years of inventory or stock control experience in a fulfilment, warehouse, or e-commerce environment.
- Strong command of WMS/ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational timelines.
- Good communication skills and cross-team coordination abilities.
