Job Description
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, consumables, chemicals, powders.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely identification of shortages, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
- Maintain safety stock of all high movement parts and monitor on daily basis.
- Conduct monthly and periodic stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliation of variances.
- Ensure proper implementation of FIFO/FEFO and bin location controls.
- Verify and control material movements including inward, issue, transfer, and dispatch.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are correctly posted in the ERP/system (SAP/Oracle/etc.).
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, Purchase, and Quality teams.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and space utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and company procedures.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of inventory control & ISO documentation processes
- ERP/SAP proficiency
- Analytical and reconciliation skills
- Understanding of manufacturing store operations
