Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing our Shopify platform, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various teams to maintain accurate inventory levels in our Shopify system.
  • Edit and update product tags on Shopify to enhance product categorization and searchability.
  • Utilize Excel and its formulas to analyze and manipulate inventory data effectively.
  • Clean up and organize inventory data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify discrepancies or issues, taking necessary corrective actions.
  • Regularly reconcile physical inventory counts with system records.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to coordinate stock replenishment and avoid stockouts.
  • Assist in optimizing the layout and organization of physical inventory to enhance efficiency.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, trends, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain familiarity with Shopify updates and changes to ensure optimal system utilization.
  • Provide support during audits and collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate inventory records.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in inventory coordination or a related field.
  • Proficiency in editing and managing product tags on the Shopify platform.
  • Strong Excel skills, including working with formulas and manipulating data.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and its inventory management features.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Positive and upbeat personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively address inventory-related issues.
  • Prior experience in data cleanup and organization is a plus.
  • Adept at multitasking and managing priorities effectively.
