Job Title: Supply Chain Executive / Inventory Planner

Reports To: Planning Manager.
Position Purpose
To manage and optimize inventory levels for assigned suppliers portfolio, ensuring the right balance between on-shelf availability and inventory cost/days on hand. The role requires strong analytical, coordination, and supplier management skills to drive operational efficiency and product availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Compute optimum procurement quantities based on demand forecasts, product life cycles, and supplier parameters (lead time, MOQ, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance through accurate and actionable KPIs; challenge and support suppliers for continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of purchase orders in SAP.
- Track stock levels across warehouses and retail outlets; identify and address potential out-of-stock situations through recovery plans (e.g., stock transfers, expedited shipments).
- Collaborate closely with category managers, buyers, logistics providers, and sister companies to align supply with business trends and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with logistics and customs teams to ensure smooth inbound flow of goods.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, draw conclusions, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory efficiency.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 35 years of relevant experience in inventory planning or supply chain management, preferably within retail, supermarket, or FMCG industries.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proven ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders (suppliers, logistics providers, buyers, and category managers).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
