Job Description
Investment Analysis & Financial Modelling
- Build and maintain 3-statement financial models, valuation models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and scenario analyses.
- Analyse historical financials and develop base, downside, and upside cases for potential investments.
- Conduct sensitivity testing, stress testing, and capital structure analysis to support investment decisions.
Deal Execution Support
- Assist in evaluating opportunities across sectors and geographies, including the GCC and Europe.
- Support due diligence processes (financial, commercial, operational) in coordination with advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare investment memos, IC presentations, pitch materials, and analytical summaries for senior decision-makers.
Market & Sector Research
- Conduct market mapping, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify trends and potential opportunities.
- Support screening of targets, partners, and co-investment opportunities.
Portfolio Monitoring
- Track performance of existing investments, analyse variances, and prepare periodic reporting.
- Support ongoing value-creation initiatives and strategic reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and investment strategy.
- Coordinate with external advisors, consultants, and legal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Progress toward CFA or similar qualifications is an advantage
- 2-3 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, or Valuations.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
- Exposure to deal execution or investment analysis is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work in a lean team, take ownership, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in buy-side investing.
