Responsibilities would include:
- Lead origination and execution of M&A/ strategic advisory transactions
- Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing or M&A transactions
- Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
- Regional coverage: Southeast Asia
- Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
- Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
- Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
- Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, internal and external stakeholders
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance / M&A
- Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
- Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
- Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
- Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
- Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
