Role Overview
Support the management and administration of investment portfolios by overseeing investment transactions, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting investor reporting. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external service providers to ensure the accurate execution of transactions, effective portfolio oversight, and compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee investment transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Monitor and analyse portfolio performance, tracking investment valuations, capital commitments, and cash flow activity across investments.
- Maintain accurate records of investment positions, capital activity, and portfolio data to support internal reporting and portfolio oversight.
- Prepare and deliver investment and investor reporting, including portfolio updates, capital activity summaries, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with fund administrators, custodians, and external service providers to ensure efficient transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy.
- Support portfolio monitoring and investment analysis, providing insights into portfolio performance and key investment metrics.
- Ensure adherence to investment policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of investment operations processes, reporting standards, and data management practices.
Key Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of investment management and private market structures.
- Experience managing capital calls, distributions, and investment cash flows.
- Strong ability to analyse portfolio performance, valuations, and investment data.
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with fund administrators, custodians, and external service providers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting investor reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
