About the Role
Supervise Telecom rollout activities within the region.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and design of IP backbone network topology (Core, Edge, and Interconnect layers).
- Assist in capacity planning and traffic forecasting to ensure optimal network performance and scalability.
- Analyze network utilization trends and propose expansion or optimization plans.
- Participate in peering, transit, and interconnection planning with external partners.
- Contribute to IP addressing schemes, routing design, and network segmentation.
- Support implementation of redundancy and high availability strategies.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams during network upgrades and expansions.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and network design diagrams.
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to IP and transport networks.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and technical assessments.
Qualifications
- Excellent Computer skills and problem-solving skills Very Good in English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering /Telecommunication.
Desirable Qualifications
The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient network infrastructure supporting voice, data, and digital services.
Required Experience
23 years of experience to support the design, planning, and optimization of the IP backbone network within a mobile operator environment or relevant role in a vendor/partner.
