Job Purpose
Responsible for organizing, monitoring, and supervising the landscape maintenance project and reporting it to the Project Engineer and Project Manager
Roles, Responsibilities, Duties
- Identify the need for extra irrigation manpower and advise Head of Irrigation of requirement.
- Monitor irrigation request trends and recommends improvements.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of the irrigation team across all sites.
- Provide support and feedback to the irrigation team.
- In coordination with site Supervisors/PM, evaluate the Irrigation team during the January performance appraisal session.
- Supervise irrigation schedules and modify as required.
- Collaborate with Cost Control in identifying and tackling avoidable expenses.
- Prepare strategic reduction plan in consumables and materials for Turnkey or long-term projects.
- Whenever possible, advise bulk purchase options for routine and regular consumables.
- In coordination with HR, identify challenges within the Irrigation team skills and design a training plan to address those challenges.
- Follow and implement the Department procedures, Company's Quality/HSEM/ISM Procedures as applicable.
- Interacts with other Department Managers and personnel at various levels frequently.
- Maintain healthy & safe environment at the workplace.
- Follow the rules and regulation according to the company policy.
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in related field or high school Certificate
Experience and Skills:
Industry Experience (No. of years):
- Minimum of 3-5 experience on handling at least 3 sites of not less than 40 irrigation valve stations.
Position/functional experience (No. of years):
- Principles and practices of landscape maintenance.
- Equipment, tools and materials used in landscape maintenance
- Basic principles and practices of supervision and training.
- Principles and practices of Safety Management.
- Principles of Landscape, Irrigation and Horticulture, Office procedures, method, and equipment
Competencies and Skills:
He should be able to organize, implement and direct the operational activities and the team.
Read and interpret maps, plans, sketches, diagram etc.
Demonstrate tact and diplomacy with client
