General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
The IT Application Engineer will support ERP and business application implementations, focusing on SAP and integrated enterprise systems. This role involves working with stakeholders, assisting in large-scale or multi-site projects, and ensuring successful adoption and optimization of ERP solutions.
- Support SAP and ERP system implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
- Assist in business process optimization, documentation, and end-user training to ensure successful system adoption.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support for ERP applications.
- Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and consultants to manage project deliverables and timelines.
- Support integration between ERP, CRM, finance, and other enterprise systems.
- Assist in project management activities including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress for ERP initiatives.
- Provide knowledge transfer to junior IT/ERP engineers.
- Ensure compliance with quality, security, and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant ERP/SAP certifications are a plus.
- 510+ years of experience in ERP/SAP system implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in large-scale, multi-site, or global projects.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently in a dynamic environment.
