IT application operation specialist

Role Description The IT Application Operation Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for maintaining and supporting the digital applications used by BEM FEB UNESA. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring application performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing application support to users. The specialist collaborates with organizational units to understand business processes and translate them into effective IT solutions. The role also involves documenting system issues and changes, coordinating with technical teams or vendors when needed, and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret data, and improve application performance.
• Candidates should possess Application Support and Technical Support skills to handle user requests, troubleshoot problems, and ensure smooth system operation.
• Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge and understanding of Business Process to align applications with organizational needs.
• Relevant skills such as basic database and networking knowledge, familiarity with common web or mobile applications, and experience with helpdesk tools are beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
• Enrollment in or completion of an IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related program is an advantage.
