Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking IT Business Partner / Product Owner to act as the strategic interface between business units and technology teams. This role is critical in driving digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with organizational priorities, and delivering high-impact digital products that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating business needs into clear product and technology requirements
- Own the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and continuous improvement
- Define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and external vendors to deliver scalable digital solutions
- Lead requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder engagements, and user journey mapping
- Monitor product performance using KPIs and data insights, driving enhancements where needed
- Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Support digital transformation initiatives and contribute to innovation strategies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, digital platforms, and emerging technologies
- Experience working within government or large, complex organizations is highly preferred
- Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or similar are advantageous
