Role Overview
The IT Helpdesk & Asset Management Officer will serve as the first point of contact for end-user technical support while maintaining accurate tracking and lifecycle management of IT equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth IT operations, user satisfaction, and proper asset governance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support (hardware, software & network troubleshooting)
Manage and respond to helpdesk tickets with timely resolution
Maintain and update IT asset inventory (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, etc.)
Oversee issuance, replacement, and return of IT equipment
Ensure proper tracking and lifecycle management of IT assets
Support employee onboarding and offboarding (IT setup & recovery)
Assist in IT asset audits and license reporting.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
23 years of experience in IT helpdesk and/or IT asset management
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience with Windows environment, Microsoft 365 & basic networking
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Good communication and customer service mindset
