Description
- Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage, virtualization, and network environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal uptime.
- Implement infrastructure automation, configuration management, and monitoring solutions.
- Manage VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization platforms.
- Deploy and manage workloads in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) ensuring cost efficiency and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and routing protocols.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices, including patching, access control, and compliance standards.
- Implement and manage backup solutions, replication, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Participate in business continuity planning and execution.
- Work closely with applications, DBA, and support teams to deliver reliable IT services.
- Maintain detailed infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
- Other duties assigned within the scope of the job.
Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in managing Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Skilled in storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions ensuring business continuity.
- Experience with monitoring tools and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on high availability and security.
- Effective communicator and team player with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Experience: IT Infrastructure: 0 - 2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure or related field.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Language: Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic.
