About The Role
We are looking for an IT infrastructure Intern who will be participating in all infrastructure administration activities. The intern will work on monitoring, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and implementing changes on the environment.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and administration of enterprise network (access points, switches, routers, perimiter firewalls and VPNs)
- Monitor on-prem data center and communication rooms
- Provide basic support for on-prem servers. physical and virtual
- Perform NAC administration
- IAM and access provisioning for infrastructure components and VPN clients, in addition to periodic reviews
- Perform Storage and Backup systems administration
- Respond to support tickets related to troubleshooting end-users and peripherals connectivity issues and conduct RCA
- Perform patch management activities for on-prem infrastructure components as well as endpoints
- Perform asset management for infrastructure components and conduct periodic health checks
Qualifications
- Full understanding of enterprise network TCP/IP and OSI model
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows Server
- Basic knowledge about virtualization and containerization
- BSc degree in related major, or final year student (if university allows)
- Professional certifications will be preferred
- Positive attitude and passion for learning and innovation
