Job Description
We are seeking an IT Onsite Support Specialist to deliver highquality technical assistance and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure within our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will provide frontline support, manage IT assets, and collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain a secure and efficient technology environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing IT-related issues.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals to ensure optimal usability and performance.
- Manage Active Directory and Exchange accounts, including user provisioning and changes.
- Support VPN, network switches, firewalls, and other infrastructure components.
- Oversee IT asset management and ensure proper lifecycle maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures while delivering solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and software applications.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical teams.
- Maintain clear communication with end-users regarding issue status, updates, and planned outages.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware products, and technology trends.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role.
- Proficiency in:
- Windows OS (Windows 10 and 11)
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications
- PC and laptop hardware, printers, and mobile devices
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange
- ITIL certification and experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) are advantageous.
- Knowledge of GMP/GxP environments is an added benefit.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for IT service delivery.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while following established processes.
