A leading construction-related organisation in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to take full ownership of enterprise IT infrastructure and technology operations across multiple sites and large-scale projects.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to candidates with strong infrastructure, security, and service delivery expertise, ideally within construction, engineering, utilities, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of IT infrastructure and operations across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Manage data centres, cloud platforms, enterprise networks, and core IT services
- Oversee IT Service Desk operations, end-user support, and service delivery across head office and project sites
- Lead IT security and cybersecurity operations, ensuring compliance with KSA regulations and best practices
- Deliver infrastructure, operations, and IT projects end-to-end, supporting large construction and capital projects
- Drive automation, operational efficiency, system stability, and uptime
- Own backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Manage vendors, budgets, contracts, and SLAs, including local and international partners
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and IT operations teams
- Support technology operations in OT / industrial environments, including plants, project sites, and ICS systems
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in an IT Operations Manager / Infrastructure Manager role
- Strong expertise across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid IT environments
- Solid knowledge of networks, data centre operations, and enterprise IT services
- Hands-on experience in IT security and cybersecurity operations
- Track record of delivering large-scale IT and infrastructure projects
- Experience working within construction, engineering, industrial, utilities, or OT environments (highly preferred)
- Strong vendor management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience operating in multi-site environments across Saudi Arabia
