Job Title: IT Operations Site Owner
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced IT leader to take full ownership of production systems and applications across a defined region or cloud environment. You'll be accountable for stability, performance, cost, security, and compliance, ensuring our technology runs seamlessly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the budget for IT operations in your region, including cloud, licenses, support contracts, and headcount.
- Lead incident management for critical outages (Severity 0/1), run blameless post-mortems, and drive corrective actions.
- Define and enforce SLAs for all critical services.
- Forecast capacity and costs for 618 months ahead and justify budgets with data.
- Serve as a key member of the Change Advisory Board, approving production changes and enforcing governance.
- Champion automation to reduce manual worktargeting less than 30% of engineer time spent on repetitive tasks.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, or SRE leadership.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus on-prem environments.
- Expertise in incident response, FinOps, and IT governance.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Rundeck, StackStorm, PagerDuty, or similar).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS/Azure/GCP Architect-level certifications.
- ITIL, FinOps Practitioner.
- PMP or equivalent for operational leadership.
