The ICT Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of ICT initiatives across infrastructure, networks, unified communications, cybersecurity, and/or software implementation. The role owns project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, stakeholder engagement, and vendor delivery. Proficiency in MS Project is required for planning, tracking, and governance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Initiation and Planning
- Define scope, success criteria, milestones, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
- Build and manage an integrated project plan in MS Project (WBS, dependencies, baselines, critical path).
- Develop resource plans, delivery approach, and governance cadence (steerco, weekly reviews).
- Establish project controls: RAID, change control, communications, and quality management.
Execution and Delivery Management
- Lead delivery to achieve agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Coordinate internal and vendor teams; remove blockers and drive accountability.
- Manage technical and business dependencies; ensure readiness for cutover/go-live.
- Oversee testing, migration, implementation, and handover to operations/support teams.
Stakeholder, Vendor, and Commercial Management
- Manage customer and internal stakeholder expectations with clear, proactive communication.
- Control vendor performance (plans, deliverables, SLAs, and escalation paths).
- Coordinate procurement activities, POs, invoicing, and budget tracking with Finance/Procurement.
- Support contract governance, change requests, and claims management when required.
Governance, Reporting, and Risk Management
- Produce clear executive reporting (RAG status, progress, key risks/issues, decisions needed).
- Own RAID log and implement mitigation and contingency plans; escalate when needed.
- Run project governance forums and maintain documentation (minutes, decisions, approvals).
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards, security requirements, and audit readiness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- From 3 to 5+ years of project management experience in ICT / technology delivery.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Certifications (preferred): PMP / PRINCE2 Practitioner / Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP) as relevant.

- Networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN), connectivity, and basic network security concepts.
- Data center / cloud fundamentals (compute, storage, virtualization, backup/DR).
- Unified communications / collaboration (voice, video, contact center - if relevant).
- Cybersecurity delivery awareness (controls, hardening, testing, access governance - if relevant).
- Software implementation and integration basics (APIs, environments, UAT, release planning - if relevant).

- On-time and on-budget delivery with achieved acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and governance effectiveness (clear decisions, timely escalations).
