Position: IT Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and functioning effectively
- Provide technical support and training to employees on new systems and software
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technology and make recommendations for their implementation
- Manage IT inventory and maintain accurate records of equipment and software licenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT operations
- Participate in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans
- Assist with system upgrades and migrations as needed
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems and software to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures for reference and training purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of data security and backup procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position based in 6th of October City, Egypt. The IT Specialist will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
