Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE – Profile Middle East Office & Partner Locations
Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
About the Role
Profile Middle East is looking for an IT Specialist to provide hands-on IT support within our Abu Dhabi office and at the locations of our partners.
The role will focus on maintaining reliable day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting office network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based computers, peripherals, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including basic repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications.
- Support the setup and maintenance of office networks, including LAN/Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and access points.
- Configure and troubleshoot NAS, shared drives, network access, and connectivity.
- Support Apple/macOS devices when required.
- Provide on-site IT assistance within the Profile Middle East Abu Dhabi office and at partner locations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Helpdesk, System Support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi.
- Knowledge of NAS systems and Windows network environments.
- Knowledge of Apple/macOS devices is an advantage.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication skills and command of English.
