Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring a IT Support Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to work on one of the fastest growing projects in the kingdom .
What you'll be doing:
Gathers and analyzes information for developing, modifying and/or installing computer hardware and/or software systems.
Develops general and detailed documentation describing system criteria, specifications descriptions and/or operating instructions.
Prepares and delivers reports and/or oral presentations of studies concerning computer hardware and/or software systems specifications and design. Prepares test cases to ensure user requirements and specifications are satisfied and/or IT standards are met.
Resolves software/hardware problems and/or needs.
What required skills you'll bring:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Construction experience is highly desired.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
What desired skills you'll bring:
Performs studies on proposed computer software and/or hardware systems development and/or modifications, including gathering information, documenting, analyzing, preparing conceptual designs and making presentations.
Analyzes user requirements, provides advise and guidance in computer software and/or hardware specifications and objectives.
Develops computer software and/or hardware project work plans for review and approval including budgets, schedules, and personnel and computer use requirements.
Assists in the software design process by negotiating conflicting requirements and design solutions.
Participates with Management in creating computer software and/or hardware users guidelines and operations manuals. Participates with user in implementing new computer software and/or hardware including training and guidance.
Develops, plans and implements test cases in evaluating computer hardware and/or software systems to ensure computer users requirements and/or specifications are satisfied and/or IT standards are met.
Maintains contact with personnel to develop, clarify and confirm computer hardware and/or software specifications, requirements and design.
Maintains contact with computer hardware and/or software vendors in support of studies concerning specifications and design, and/or installation.
