Role Summary
The IT Support Technician (Field) will provide hands-on, on-site technical support for end-user IT equipment during rollout and live operational phases. This role is execution-focused and requires strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced, venue-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals
- Deploy, configure, and test local and network printers
- Perform OS setup, user profile configuration, and basic software installations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues on-site
- Provide first-level user support and on-the-spot technical assistance
- Replace faulty equipment and coordinate repairs or swaps
- Maintain service tickets, checklists, and site sign-off documentation
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 3+ years of experience in IT helpdesk, field support, or desktop support roles
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and standard office applications
- Hands-on experience supporting printers and peripherals
- Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, and IP addressing
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Must be available onsite, full-time for the entire project duration
