Job purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud platforms and Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, systems, and cloud services).
- Administer cloud environments including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Manage Active Directory (AD), user accounts, and access control.
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365), Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Perform system patching, updates, and upgrades.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution.
- Document system configurations and procedures.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and security standards.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, and Oracle OCI.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD).
- Experience managing Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104).
- Experience with PowerShell automation.
- Experience with endpoint management solutions (e.g., Intune).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
