SkyBridge Tactical is a Prime Contractor for the J7 Operations contract and a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Tampa, FL, founded in 2008 to support our customers global security, operational and training needs, focusing on mission success in most challenging environments. SBT current contracts address U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and U.S. Department of State (DOS) demand for highly skilled professionals to solve problems in the interest of national security.

J7 Operational Contract Support Integration Cell (OCSIC) Specialist

Position Summary

The J7 Operational Contract Support Integration Cell (OCSIC) Specialist provides contract and acquisition-related support within an operational staff environment. This position helps develop, coordinate, track, and manage contract requirement packages in support of mission needs. The ideal candidate understands how to work across staff sections, contracting offices, funding stakeholders, and supported units to move requirements from concept through award, performance, and closeout.

This role is best suited for someone with a strong background in DoD contracting, acquisition, logistics, or operational support, especially in contingency or expeditionary environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, research, and support development of operational requirements packages
  • Prepare and submit requirement packages for staffing through contract review boards, working groups, and approval channels
  • Develop and route contract documentation through paperless file systems or other designated contract management tools
  • Track contract actions across the full lifecycle, from requirements development through award, performance, and divestment or closeout
  • Coordinate with end users, staff elements, funding offices, contracting offices, vendors, and property personnel to support contract execution
  • Respond to and help coordinate requests for information related to acquisition and contract actions
  • Support delivery coordination and accountability efforts with supported units, vendors, and warehouse or storage locations
  • Assist with preparation, review, and revision of acquisition support documents such as PWSs, SOWs, QASPs, IGCEs, and related approval or justification packages
  • Maintain visibility on payment and purchasing methods that may impact procurement planning and execution, including GPC, EFT, and cash-based processes where applicable
  • Prepare status updates, briefings, and recurring reports for leadership and supported organizations
  • Support OCS-related boards, working groups, trackers, and reporting requirements across multiple stakeholders

Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in contracting, acquisition, logistics, or a related field
  • Recent direct experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense contracting efforts
  • Familiarity with contingency contracting, operational support, or staff-level coordination in a mission-focused environment
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, or supporting acquisition documentation and requirement packages
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple offices and functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and contract/action tracking systems

Preferred Qualifications


  • DAWIA Level II certification in Contracting
  • APDP Level II certification in Contracting
  • FAC-C certification
  • CFCM, CPCM, CCMA, or similar contracting certification
  • Prior experience as a Contract Specialist or in a comparable contracting role
  • Familiarity with Joint Publication 4-10, Operational Contract Support
  • Experience supporting review boards, service approval packages, and requirements validation processes
  • Background comparable to GS-1102 or related civilian series, or equivalent military occupational specialty

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are highly valued:

Contracting / Acquisition

Experience supporting pre-award and post-award contract actions, requirements packages, and acquisition documentation in a DoD environment.

Logistics

Experience in operational or multifunctional logistics, with an understanding of planning, coordination, and requirements development.

Engineering / Technical Program Support

Experience supporting complex requirements development, program synchronization, technical coordination, or post-award oversight.

Program / Staff Operations

Experience managing complex projects, cross-functional actions, or staff processes in support of mission execution.

Work Environment

This position operates in a dynamic staff environment and may require coordination with military, civilian, and contractor personnel across multiple organizations. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and supporting time-sensitive contract and operational requirements.
