Job Summary
We are looking for a Jira Technical Consultant (Implementer) with a strong background as a Technical Consultant and proven hands-on experience in implementing and customizing the Atlassian suite. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Jira implementations, provide technical advisory services, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with client business and IT processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and customization of Atlassian products, primarily Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
- Act as a technical consultant for clients, gathering requirements and translating them into effective Jira solutions.
- Configure workflows, schemes, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automations using tools such as ScriptRunner, Groovy, or Atlassian Automation.
- Integrate Jira with third-party systems and enterprise tools via REST APIs and plugins.
- Provide best-practice guidance on Agile, ITSM, and DevOps processes using Atlassian tools.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Deliver technical documentation, solution designs, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams on solution design and effort estimation when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Technical Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing the Atlassian suite in enterprise environments.
- Solid expertise in Jira administration and advanced configuration.
- Strong scripting skills (Groovy, ScriptRunner, or equivalent).
- Experience with Jira integrations, REST APIs, and marketplace apps.
- Understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ITSM practices.
- Atlassian Certification(s) is mandatory (e.g., Atlassian Certified Professional / Expert-level certifications).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale or government projects in KSA.
- Knowledge of cloud and/or data center Atlassian deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps integrations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
