About the Role

To partner with business leaders to facilitate achievement of optimum business results and to deliver sustainable talent pipeline and to secure an engaging and distinctive culture based on IFFCO values.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, reflect & practice IFFCO's vision & values.
  • Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on work area.
  • Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports to be compliant with the HSE Management System including corrective and preventive measures.
  • Monitor HSE controllers in executing continuous audits.
  • Provide HSE improvement proposals stating the non-conformance, proposed corrective action and plan of implementation.
  • Audit work being performed with 'Safe Work Permit.
  • Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses.
  • Ensure regular emergency response drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.
  • Supervises the regular inspection of fire fighting, safety and emergency response equipments.
  • Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions for their operations.

KPIs

  • Point of equilibrium with zero injuries to people and zero damage to environment and properties and protecting environment and resources as well.
  • Implementation of HSE procedures reduces the workplace hazards & via increases health promotion.
  • Records of number of near-miss, unsafe condition and unsafe behavior reports.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant functional experience in reputed companies.
  • Relevant management courses for Health, Safety & Environment.
