A leading after school learning center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Academic Counselor to join our team. As a Junior Academic Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and support to students and their families, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic counseling to students and their families
- Assess students academic strengths and weaknesses and develop personalized action plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide an optimal learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians
- Assist with college and career counseling, including college applications and scholarship search
- Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on academic and test-taking strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counseling
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
