Role Summary
Full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, supporting finance operations within an F&B-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze food & beverage costs, prepare variance reports and highlight discrepancies
- Support menu pricing, recipe costing, and cost optimization initiatives
- Conduct inventory counts, track stock movements, and reconcile variances
- Perform spot checks on goods received and ensure compliance with procedures
- Verify and process supplier invoices; reconcile supplier statements and manage payables
- Reconcile daily sales, cash deposits, and POS reports; investigate variances
- Assist in month-end closing, journal entries, and preparation of cost and management reports
- Support audit preparation, VAT documentation, and financial compliance
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve cost control and reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, cost control or auditing.
- Experience in hospitality / F&B industry preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, familiarity with POS systems (e.g Oracle Micros, Micros Symphony, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT and general accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
