Junior Accountant

We're Hiring: Junior Accountant

Mobile 2000 is looking for a Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Odoo ERP, particularly the Odoo Accounting module, to join our Finance & Accounts team in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and review daily accounting transactions in Odoo.

• Work extensively with the Odoo Accounting module.

• Prepare and review journal entries.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Process and verify invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses.

• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.

• Perform customer and vendor account reconciliations.

• Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.

• Handle accounting transactions related to Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and POS operations.

• Review the accounting impact of POS, inventory, purchase, and sales transactions.

• Generate and review financial and accounting reports from Odoo.

• Coordinate with branches and other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Ensure accuracy of financial data and supporting documentation in the ERP system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience.

• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required.

• Practical experience with the Odoo Accounting module is required.

• Good understanding of General Ledger, Journal Entries, AP, AR, and Bank Reconciliation.

• Understanding of the integration between Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and POS modules in Odoo.

• Good Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-branch retail environment.

Candidates with previous experience in Odoo ERP, retail accounting, POS accounting, inventory accounting, or multi-branch operations will be preferred.
