Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior BIM Modeler / Draftsperson with experience in AutoCAD and Revit to support the development of detailed drawings and BIM models for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Smart Building/City infrastructure.

The role focuses on producing layouts, riser diagrams, schematics, and detailed design drawings across digital infrastructure systems, supporting multidisciplinary coordination and integration with broader smart city platforms.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and interested in working on next-generation digital infrastructure and smart environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for ITS and Smart Building/City systems (IoT sensors and gateways, traffic detectors, etc.).
• Prepare layouts, riser diagrams, schematics, and installation details for systems such as:

ITS (CCTV, traffic systems, VMS, sensors, gantries, roadside equipment)

Smart Building systems (IoT sensors, gateways)

• Support the development of coordinated BIM models in line with project requirements and digital design standards.
• Assist in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection using tools such as Navisworks.
• Update drawings and models based on design changes, coordination outcomes, and review comments.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, naming conventions, and digital-twin-ready design requirements.
• Support the preparation of design documentation packages for concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including digital workflows, automation, and standardization.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling or drafting (preferably in ICT, ELV, ITS, or infrastructure projects).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (mandatory).
• Experience in producing detailed layouts, risers, and system schematics.
• Basic understanding of:
• ITS systems (CCTV, traffic monitoring, VMS, sensors, etc.)

Smart building / ELV systems (IoT devices)

• Familiarity with BIM workflows, LOD requirements, and coordination processes.
• Ability to interpret design intent and translate it into accurate technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within smart infrastructure and digital engineering domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination tools.
• Exposure to infrastructure-related modeling.
• Basic understanding of ITS roadside infrastructure and telecom networks.
• Interest or experience in automation tools (e.g., Dynamo).
• Awareness of smart city technologies, digital twin concepts, and integrated platforms.
