Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our Infrastrcutre team and lead the design and automation of resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes , ArgoCD , Terraform , Ansible , CI/CD , and experience across public cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) , Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , and Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
Key Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and operation of Kubernetes-based platforms in public cloud environments (OCI, GCP, AWS).
- Contribute to GitOps adoption using ArgoCD for consistent and automated deployments.
- Assist in building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform and ensure compliance with IaC best practices.
- Automate configuration and operational tasks using Ansible .
- Help develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in root-cause analysis.
- Follow and implement security and governance standards defined by the platform team.
- Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure design, processes, and procedures.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, networking, security, Helm).
- Working knowledge in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning on cloud platforms.
- Basic experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with at least one public cloud, OCI or AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with Git and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, etc.).
- Certifications: CKA, CKAD, Terraform Associate, AWS/GCP/OCI certifications.
