We are looking for a Junior Production Manager to join our Whisper team in Riyadh, KSA working across the slate including Live & Non-Live Sport, Branded & Documentaries.

The role is best suited to a highly experienced Production Coordinator or Junior Production Manager, who thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

You'll need to be proactive and able to work independently, while also recognising when to escalate issues or seek guidance.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive a team forward are essential.

This is mainly an office-based role with the possiblity of on-location work at times, working with the Production Executives, Production Managers, Producers & wider production team.

This role is subject to Saudisation requirements and therefore open to Saudi nationals only.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct support to the Production Executive & Production Management team, assisting with the communication of key production information to Producers and the editorial team
  • Planning shoots, OBs, booking crews and travel arrangements
  • Organising and booking travel for contributors & talent both in KSA and Internationally.
  • Negotiating rates with external suppliers and crew
  • Preparing call sheets with accurate and detailed movement orders
  • Understanding of Health & Safety policies, to support writing of Risk Assessments
  • Preparing budgets for various production types
  • Reporting any budgetary issues to the Production Manager whilst tracking costs via cost managers
  • Scheduling edits; often juggling key personnel time with diverse requirements and limited availability
  • Clearing music & archive material and reporting correctly
  • Understanding and distributing accurate client requirements to ensure that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner, in order to fulfil the brief

Skills

  • Good communication skills and an aptitude to learn new tasks as well as a strong team ethic
  • Experience of managing multiple projects for different clients / broadcasters
  • Comfortable working in a pressurised environment within production team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to assist in planning and budgeting various productions including OB, location & digital filming
  • Managing post production schedules and delivery specification
  • You will have good prior knowledge of rights & music clearance; post production paperwork inc & archive clearance
  • Technical knowledge including camera / ingesting rushes
  • Ability to work effectively with others and manage relationships in a diverse team including the ability to manage up and provide positive and effective support to the editorial
  • A proactive attitude to work and promoting a positive work ethic in the team
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to react quickly to project changes
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and new systems

Riyadh, KSA

Working Days:

5 day week, x4 days in office and x1 day WFH.

You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements

Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.
