Overview
Entry- to mid-level systems administrator responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise systems across on-prem and cloud environments. Works under supervision and participates in on-call rotation with guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in system maintenance, updates, patching, and basic troubleshooting
- Support backups and verify successful completion of backup jobs
- Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects
- Provide support for Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Handle user account management (creation, modification, deactivation) in Active directory and Microsoft 365
- Monitor system health and alerts; escalate issues when required
- Support endpoint management and basic security tasks
- Maintain and update asset inventory (devices, licenses, warranties)
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Provide first-line support to internal teams and escalate complex issues
- Participate in maintenance windows and on-call rotation (with supervision)
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in systems administration
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP)
- Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) is a plus
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell is a plus)
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic
- Relevant certifications
