Junior Test Engineer

Job Description:

• preparing and executing test cases for software applications.
• Report, document, and retest software defects using issue tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and senior testers to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Participate in different testing phases, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Learn and apply QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Support automation and API testing activities
• Contribute to maintaining clear test documentation and results.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 02 years of experience in software testing & quality assurance.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
• Good knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA or similar.
• Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress is a plus.
• Basic programming knowledge in at least one language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
