Role Overview
The Junior Tunnel Engineer will support tunnel design and engineering activities across infrastructure projects, contributing to tunnel structural design, support systems, and permanent lining works.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tunnel and underground structure design activities.
- Assist in the design of structural support systems and permanent lining.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical and structural engineers.
- Support design reviews and ensure compliance with project standards.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 610 years of experience in tunnel engineering and underground structures.
- Proven experience in tunnel design and underground infrastructure projects.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of tunnel design methodologies and standards.
- Experience with structural analysis and engineering design tools.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
