The Opportunity

This position works out of our Riyadh location in the Established Pharmaceuticals division.

Primary Objective

  • Assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory in all Gov. sectors (MOH, MODA & TPH ) by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.

Responsibilities

The primary function for this role is Assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory in all sectors (MOH, MODA & TPH) by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.

  • Ensure that Company strategies are correctly and uniformly implemented.
  • Secure all Governmental Tenders for assigned areas (MOH, MODA & TPH).
  • Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors activity in assigned territory.
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts, and ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products where possible.
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Enlisting of new launched products.
  • Follow up with Abbott distributers in term of quotation & deliveries.
  • Monitor forecast, orders and DOH with key customers for respective products.

Accountability / Scope

  • Ability to build strong and long-lasting strategic and trusted relationships with KA.
  • Ability to communicate customized value propositions.
  • Ability to negotiate long term agreements/ implement activities in the KA.
  • Ability to reach consensus and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to monitor performance and adapt plans to external and internal changes.
  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation plans.
  • Knowledge of legal environment/framework vs. negotiations with KA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in pharmacy or medical.

Licenses:

  • Saudi commission for health specialist / SCHS

Language:

  • English
  • Arabic

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in same role.
  • Travel ability up to 50%.
  • Team player with proven ability to work across different cultures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Presentation and computer skills.
  • Multitask oriented.
