Job Brief:

The Key Account Manager in the Sales Department is responsible for managing Foodservice customers, ensuring assigned sales targets are achieved, and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.

The role involves handling money collection, launching new products, monitoring competitor activities, and ensuring strict adherence to company procedures and guidelines. The Key Account Manager is also responsible for tracking sales performance, preparing reports, and utilizing technical support to expand product listings across assigned key accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and service assigned Foodservice customers.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ensure timely money collection from Foodservice customers.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and monitor daily sales performance.
  • Introduce and launch new products in the market in coordination with internal teams.
  • Identify and propose solutions for out-of-stock situations and short-expiry products.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report competitor activities and market trends.
  • Adhere strictly to company procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports along with suggested corrective actions.
  • Maintain and regularly update the customer database.
  • Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with all customers.
  • Utilize company technical support to list additional products with assigned key accounts.
  • Accept payments from customers and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a minimum level of regular contact with all customers.
  • Follow assigned route plans and track achievement against targets.
  • Ensure customer adherence to approved pricing structures.
  • Follow up consistently on money collection and outstanding payments.
  • Track and manage tenders, including dates, products, quantities, and pricing details.
  • Monitor customer credit status and personal credit exposure on a daily basis.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products without customer complaints.
  • Identify potential new customers for business expansion.
  • Recommend new potential products to the supervisor for future distribution.

1. Sales & Revenue Performance

  • Monthly sales target achievement
  • New product introduction success rate

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Customer visit frequency
  • Customer retention rate
  • New customer acquisition

3. Cash Flow & Collections

  • Collection efficiency
  • Outstanding payments follow-up and closure

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ yearsof experience insales within institutional/wholesale.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to track sales performance and take timely corrective actions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in sales reporting, data analysis, and handling financial transactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proven experience in product launches, market introduction, and follow-up coordination.
