Key Account Manager

We provide cleaning and sanitation solution through a dual focus: on solution selling and on technical and hygiene safety service/consultation to new and existing customers. As strong business partners, Ecolab works with customers to develop customer tailored cleaning and sanitation plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, troubleshoot technical issues and identify and implement operational efficiencies.

What You Will Do:
- Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products and solutions, customer operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations
- Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service and consultation calls with new and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and training courses on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services.
- Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of cleaning, sanitation, safety, quality and operations, including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training.
- Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory, product demand planning and orders placement.
- Implement agreed upon customers commitments and objectives, and report to local, regional or global Corporate Account brand managers about customers results, challenges and initiatives
- Communicate effectively with all levels of customer staff; build strong business relationships and networks
- Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.
Position Details:
- Route territory will be Egypt, but in exceptional urgent cases, the KAM can be sent to a business trip to support customers expansion in other North African countries

- Training involves a combination of classroom and on the job with periodic assessments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, engineering, mechanical, industrial - hospitality or food & beverage science, chemistry or another related field.
- 5 years solution sales experience or specialty chemical industry experience ideally in hospitality sector
- Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed.
- Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to sell value-added products to customers
- Demonstrated large account management success in selected industry with executive-level relationship sales experience
- Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
