The Key Account Manager is a vital member of our sales team, responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our key clients.

About the Role

The Key Account Manager, ProAV (KSA) will play a critical role in driving commercial growth across the Live Events, Rental, Production, and Technical AV markets in the Middle East.

This position focuses on managing and expanding relationships with key accounts such as rental companies, live event production houses, staging providers, and technical service companies. The role requires a commercially driven professional who understands the operational and technical requirements of live event environments and can translate them into successful business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will combine strong account management skills, technical AV knowledge, and a results-driven mindset, with a proven ability to grow revenue, build strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities within the live entertainment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow long-term relationships with key accounts within the Live Events, Rental, Production, and Technical AV sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the touring, festivals, live productions, staging companies, and event technology markets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and pre-sales consultations tailored to the operational requirements of live event and rental environments.
  • Regularly visit customer facilities, event sites, and production offices to strengthen relationships and gain a deeper understanding of operational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments including technical support, logistics, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver commercial quotations, proposals, and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, project pipelines, tender progress, and customer interactions through CRM tools and internal reporting systems to provide visibility to senior management.
  • Track industry developments including new technologies in live production, touring systems, lighting, audio, and event infrastructure, as well as competitor activity.
  • Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities, ensuring achievement or exceeding of sales targets within the assigned market segments.
  • Lead technical and commercial negotiations, follow up on proposals, and drive the process through to final order confirmation.
  • Proactively conduct outbound outreach and business development, expanding the customer base and maintaining an up-to-date prospect database.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, targeting both existing clients and emerging players in the live entertainment ecosystem.
  • Adhere to company procedures regarding customer acquisition, tender submissions, and commercial processes.
  • Represent NMK Electronics and its partner brands at industry exhibitions, trade shows, demonstrations, and live event technology showcases across the region.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's product portfolio and services, particularly those relevant to the live and rental markets.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, production technologies, and regional entertainment industry developments.

Education, Experience, and Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Audio/Visual Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 45 years of experience in account management or business development, preferably within the ProAV, live events, rental, or entertainment technology sectors.
  • Solid understanding of professional audio, lighting, video, and event production systems used in live environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is essential.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution-based proposals to clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Arabic & English.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the Middle East region as required.
  • A valid local driving license is required for this role.
