Job Description

Our client is a leading FMCG business who are seeking to hire a Key Account Manager to manage and grow the Travel Retail channel across the Gulf. The ideal candidate must be willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE, as this role is not remote and is based in the Dubai, UAE.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage day-to-day operational issues for all Duty-Free customers across the GCC, so as to achieve the planned profitability, turnover, market share, and customer satisfaction criteria agreed to. A key component of this is ensuring product visibility, developing and implementing promotional activities and monitoring their effectiveness, and developing and maintaining excellent relationships with all customers.

The key challenge for this role will be to maximize listings and product sales in the various Duty-Free outlets across the GCC and work towards optimal stock levels, whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service.

What we are looking for

  • 5-8 years of substantial sales experience preferably selling consumer goods / fmcg products to Duty-Free / Travel Retail / On-Trade Customers
  • Excellent public speaking skills and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of commercial operating principles, practices, and procedures in the business
