The Job:

The Key Account Specialist will support and generate DEWALT & STANLEY sales from Channel Partners in the End User business in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain. The job role involves setting and meeting sales targets for a specific territory, managing commercial business objectives, developing communication strategies to improve relationships with end users & trade partners, managing operational requirements of the market, presenting to key accounts, exploring new distribution channels, and implementing actions based on market requirements.

He will be responsible for product demonstrations & promotions, brand management, and consistently maintain merchandising standards; develop, manage, and implement sales projects that drive acquisition of customers, branding, and POS communication across all channels.

Engage with Key Accounts across Abu Dhabi & Al Ain in the construction and Oil & Gas Industry to drive DEWALT market share.

You'll get to:

  • Focus on Key Projects with effective coverage of all segments, ensuring category-wise penetration and close Rate Contracts with Service Plans.
  • Propose value-added solutions via demonstrations for end-user applications, highlighting features & benefits.
  • Preparing a go-to strategy in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain for DEWALT to make the brand market leader.
  • Engage SBD management for a top-to-top meeting with high-potential accounts.
  • Product/safety training & jobsite events with end-users to support customers in driving higher productivity by correct usage of tools and accessories.
  • Distribution Management- Collaboration, Training distributor sales force, Inventory Management, Market Coverage, Drive Focus Categories, and Biweekly Reviews.
  • Create strong brand differentiation by introducing NPI's into the market.
  • Conduct market research on new products and communicate the voice of the customer back to Marketing/ product management team.

What do we need

The ideal candidate should have excellent customer focus and key account management skills, work well in a team, and engage in cross-functional support. They must demonstrate planning and implementation abilities, personal and professional integrity, and possess high drive, energy, enthusiasm, and determination to succeed.

Experience in planning sales promotions, activations, and merchandising is essential, along with strong relationship-building skills to interact with clients at various levels and collaborate with dealers and customers. Additionally, the candidate should have commercial awareness to identify market opportunities and the ability to learn and research new strategies for market penetration and revenue growth.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, sales, or marketing with at least 3 years of relevant experience in sales distribution, channel execution, and administration.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent skills for representing the organization at public events, media engagements, product launches, demonstrations, and trade shows.
  • Planning & Organization: Strong abilities to manage multiple tasks and track customer and product information effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in conveying information to customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Teamwork: Essential for driving conversions and collaborating on events, blitzes, and training.
  • Coordination Skills: Key to managing and motivating other functions (e.g., sales/supply chain) to meet targets and achieve outcomes.
  • Computer Skills: Competent in generating reports, analyzing marketing metrics, extracting data, and using e-commerce platforms and social media for customer engagement and product promotion.
